Customer Reviews: Easy enough for a novice.June 29, 2010 Nicholas Dolin(Madison, WV USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had some toilet problems and ordered this kit to go ahead and replace all the "guts" in the toilet as it's best to do it all (and it isn't expensive) than to put some new parts in and leave old ones. Installation is simple enough and it get's the job done. My commode no longer leaks and it actually flushes a bit faster. It's also really easy to adjust the water level, just turn the little black screw near the top and you can tell it when to shut off.
Great replacement, easy to install yourselfMarch 23, 2010 Matt M(Washington DC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a running toilet and no plumbing experience. That wasn't a problem with this product. I did have a few points where the instructions were a tad confusing, but once I figured it out it was actually fairly simple to do the job myself.
The contraption this product replaced seemed pretty outdated, but little did I know it was actually fairly water-conserving. It had been giving me the ability to choose different amounts of water to flush with. This product, despite its better updated design, just empties the tank. So that's an issue if you worry about that sort of thing. It doesn't bother me tremendously, and the economical versions all seemed to cost about twice as much. My water is included in my condo fees, so I don't worry about the minimal increase in expense. Sorry environment :)
quick and easy to installNovember 19, 2009 BTrain(Pioneer Square) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
So the thingie that hold that floatie-thingie in my toilet broke off...so you can tell by that language I have no idea what to do with plumbing at all but figured I'd try to fix my toilet myself and I have to say that with this kit it went very quickly and easily. The only time consuming things that I had were having to drain out the tank at the back of the toilet before I installed this and that has nothing to do with this kit. I was initially concerned that I might not have ordered the right size for what I needed but it fit perfectly and it seems like it would fit in basically all non-frou-frou-super-fancy-stylish type toilets. (You know, the ones that make you think "Wait, is that the toilet?")
Buy it if you need to replace any of the innards of your toilet tank.
Don't buy it if you have a non-standard toilet.

This kit was easy to install and came with all the parts you needed and clear instructions. Seems to be adjustable to fit most toilets. Fixed my "lazy flusher".
Easy to install, good qualityAugust 24, 2009 Comdet 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I found this very easy to install - everything needed (except for the tools -- you'll need pliers and a couple of rags) was included in the package, along with clear instructions. The valve height is easily adjustable so it will fit into pretty much any tank. All the parts seem to be of good quality that will (hopefully) last several years. Quiet operation.
