Better Than MostSeptember 5, 2010 Bob Le Knob(SE Pennsylvania, USA) We have replaced all three toilets in our house with Toto one piece Ultra Max units. They are very quiet, the tank refills very quickly and quietly and they clear the bowl very efficiently. I guess the only negative is that they don't clean the bowl very well. I think this is because of the way the flushing action works. The water and matter are just sucked out of the bowl rather than the whirlpool action of more standard toilets. So it is something of a trade-off: quiet speed for a cleaner bowl. But, overall, we are very pleased with this product and it has saved us money on our water bill. One side note: Beware that the price of this item varies widely on Amazon. In the several months in between the purchase of the first Toto Ultra Max Round toilet and the second purchase of the same unit, the price varied as much as $60.00.

My toilet arrived in the original factory packaging (no reinforcement or extra packaging provided by amazon). Bottom was smashed to pieces. These take 10 -14 days to arrive, now I have to wait for another one and hope it isn't smashed. If you read the low star reviews of this item, you will see breakage is common. Amazon needs to put the toilet in it's original box inside another, padded box to avoid breakage. Now my toilet is a $384 piece of land-fill.

great product!August 15, 2010 soccer man I got this for about a month now. So far I am happy with this toilet. It flushes very well, using little water. So far, never have to flush twice. Installation was very easy, but I've replaced many toilets before. If you want to save some money, you should consider the two piece Toto EcoDrake toilet. I got that one too and am also very happy with it.
I was worried a little bit about delivery based on some other reviews, but took a chance. It came perfect, but the packaging was pretty minimal, and I could see how the item could be easily damaged. You should check the box to see if there's any side of damage before you open the box. I started opening the box before I signed the paper, and the driver said "it's your now".
